What role conscience?

“Hold a good conscience, so that in the particular in which YOU are spoken against they may get ashamed who are speaking slightingly of YOUR good conduct in connection with Christ.” (1 Peter 3:16) - NWT

How do you understand this scripture?

Could you hold your head up if falsely accused or would you crumble at the hint of an accusation?

(Be honest … you are as anonymous here as anywhere else on the planet.)

What would your response be if the accusations were ‘almost’ true … for instance, if an allegation was basically true but was trivial and was being blown out of proportion?
