David LaFerney has posted a rather nice set of how-to photos for setting up an inexpensive greenhouse. He sited it in a wooded area, which makes me wonder how well it would stand being erected in an urban area with a maze of zoning laws and sometimes clueless inspectors.
But still, even if just for the inspirational value, I thought I’d pass the link along. My own gardening space is pretty much out of room (much as I love to garden, the garage is going to stay right where it is) but if you’ve got a slightly larger back yard, this might be a very worthwhile project. Looking at it, and especially with his clear photos as a guide, this looks like a ‘one long day’ project. It looks like an individual could build it in 8-10 hours and a coordinated couple should be able to handle it in 6 or less. None of the dimensions appear to be critical except that you will want the ends pretty much vertical. That should be handled with the braces. Get them all the same length and the rest should fall into place readily enough.
If you are a fellow Stumbler, you might want to give him some thumbs-up Stumble Love, too. I did.

Thanks

Mike … follow the link. It isn’t my project — all of the pictures are at the far end of the link.
