“What’s the secret word?” “What’s the secret word?”

With a tip of the hat to the memory of Groucho Marx.

It’s amazing how many things I simply forget in the course of a week. Phone numbers, appointments, recipes – you name it – I can’t. I suppose it’s possible that I could forget just one more thing.

(1,019 Words, two links, December 9. 2007 postscript)

First, to put things in context, watch this BBC News Player video about a Canadian pig farmer / alleged murderer. Watch the video a couple of times. Pay attention to EVERYTHING.

Click your browsers back button if you need to.

(203 Words) Just thought I’d mention to anyone who reads these words of wit that writing a blog is, at first, a lot like wetting yourself in a dark suit. It will give you a nice, warm, feeling, but it may be a while before anyone notices. Click here to read on, my friend.

(1894 Words) Much of this post started out as an e-mail to my Dad. I cut them from that letter because this is not something I want my Dad to see … not right away. His health isn’t all that good and I don’t want to plague him with my troubles. I can probably post here quite freely. Click here to read on, my friend.
