Great! This is just what I've been studying and researching lately. We must not rely on man's thoughts on matters, but God's.
Matthew 5:14-16 --True Christains achieve this by displaying that Godly quality of humilty, by yes letting those with "less briteness (?)" shine so as to bring them the good news of God's Kingdom and what it will accomplish as well as those ones learning the quality of being humble.

Humility Pleases God. Humility has great value in the eyes of Jehovah. Although God does not owe mankind anything, in undeserved kindness he is ready to show mercy and favor to those humbling themselves before him. Such ones show that they are not trusting or boasting in themselves but are looking to him and want to do his will. As the inspired Christian writers James and Peter say: “God opposes the haughty ones, but he gives undeserved kindness to the humble ones.”—Jas 4:6; 1Pe 5:5.

Freedom from pride or arrogance; lowliness of mind. It is not weakness but a state of mind that is pleasing to Jehovah.
In the Hebrew Scriptures, “humility” is drawn from a root word (?a·nah?) meaning “be afflicted; be humbled; be oppressed.” Words drawn from this root are variously translated “humility,” “meekness,” “affliction,” and so forth. Two other Hebrew verbs involving “humility” are ka·na?? (literally, subdue [oneself]) and sha·phel? (literally, be or become low). In the Christian Greek Scriptures the word ta·pei·no·phro·sy?ne is translated “humility” and “lowliness of mind.” It is drawn from the words ta·pei·no?o, “make low,” and phren, “the mind.”

Humility will guide a person in the proper path and will bring him into glory, for it is God who exalts one and puts down another. (Ps 75:7) “Before a crash the heart of a man is lofty, and before glory there is humility.” (Pr 18:12; 22:4) So, one seeking glory by haughtiness will fail, as did King Uzziah of Judah, who became presumptuous and unlawfully usurped priestly duties: “As soon as he was strong, his heart became haughty even to the point of causing ruin, so that he acted unfaithfully against Jehovah his God and came into the temple of Jehovah to burn incense upon the altar of incense.” When he became enraged at the priests for correcting him, he was stricken with leprosy. (2Ch 26:16-21) Lack of humility caused Uzziah to be misguided, to his downfall.
Christians Must Cultivate Humility. In counseling fellow Christians to put on the personality that “is being made new according to the image of the One who created it,” the apostle Paul says: “Accordingly, as God’s chosen ones, holy and loved, clothe yourselves with the tender affections of compassion, kindness, lowliness of mind, mildness, and long-suffering.” (Col 3:10, 12) Citing the fine example of Christ, he admonishes them: ‘With lowliness of mind consider that the others [of God’s servants] are superior to you.’ (Php 2:3) Again he appeals: “Be minded the same way toward others as to yourselves; do not be minding lofty things, but be led along with the lowly things. Do not become discreet in your own eyes.”—Ro 12:16.

False humility can actually result in developing haughtiness in the individual, for he may tend to think he is righteous on his own merit; or he may feel that he is accomplishing his ends, not realizing that he cannot deceive Jehovah. If haughtiness develops, he will in time be humbled in a way that he will not enjoy. He will be brought low, and it may be to his own destruction.—Pr 18:12; 29:23.

Hi Bill, hope my blogspot url is visible and answers your hint.

1 Corinthians 15:45 "Thus it is written: "The first man Adam was made a living being." The last Adam became a life giving spirit! "

Yes, i have thought about Jesus as the last Adam. Jesus being Jehovah's first born son of the heavens, because of some of what the Bible says, I know that he would have wanted to defend Jehovah, to oppose Satan's actions on the earth. As close as Jesus was to his father, as the master worker for eons, and his fondness for humans it is logical for Jesus to be the perfect ransom, the life giving spirit. Adam the firstborn son of the earth, lost the privilege to be the son that loved and stayed faithful to his creator.

Before he disobeyed Adam was perfect, & comparable to Jesus, the perfect and still faithful son.

There is no reason for another Adam.

Jesus is the promised Messiah. Jesus said he has been given all authority in heaven and on the earth.

Matthew 28:18 Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying: "All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth."

Does Muhammad say this also?

Except where extreme security measures have been imposed, ALL blogs are public blogs and anyone, anywhere on the planet at any time of day or night and for any purpose whatsoever, can read every single word posted there. If I had your URL (hint-hint), I could be reading your blog minutes from now. More than that, I could put its address over in my sidebar as a recommendation to others. If your blog has a similar arrangement, I would ask that you do the same for me.

I am comfortable going (somewhat) out on a limb with what I write. My intent is to provoke serious thought ... to encourage, even goad, my readers into digging deeper into their faith. To understand it better by being skillfully challenged to examine it closely. To the extent I have such skill, I try to use it. Have you, for instance, ever meditated on the term "the last Adam" as used in 1 Cor. 15:45? How does that affect our acceptance of Jesus as the Messiah, our opinion of Mohammed, our sincerity in accepting the application of the ransom in our lives? Why was Jesus compared to Adam? ... Adam failed. By the time Paul penned these words, Jesus' success was indisputable.

None of these questions will draw anyone away from the love they have for the Christ, but answering them will improve on that love like learning small and intimate details about a good friend ... how they season their fish, what they think when they see hills at dusk, which words they consistently have problems spelling ... will deepen our love for them.

And that's what I try to do ... challenge to the point of growth.

2.25% growth looks mighty good compared with the drops that many religions are experiencing. The Church of England seems all but moribund, with Parliament eager to drive the final few nails into the coffin.

ISTR that they had some other interesting statistical observations. Something about Jehovah's Witnesses being the world's largest religion by 2050. Frankly, I don't see that ever happening ... I think that something major is going to intervene.
